There was a season in my life when I felt completely lost… like I wasn’t enough.
In the span of a year, I met heartbreak, deep loneliness, and the loss of my father. I learned how to carry it all quietly—how to look strong while feeling heavy.
So I wrote.
Page after page, I poured out the weight I didn’t know how to speak. But when I looked back, my words were filled with pain—hurt, guilt, resentment, insecurity.
And then… life shifted.
I found love again.
I became a mother.
And for the first time, I felt a kind of love I didn’t know existed—one that softened me, changed me, made me whole in ways I didn’t expect.
It made me wonder… why don’t I write about joy?
So I began again.
I wrote about love.
About light.
About this little soul who changed my world.
Somewhere between those pages, I found healing.
And somewhere in that healing, a quiet wish formed—to turn those words into a song for her. I didn’t have the gift to create it… but my husband did. So I shared my heart, and together, we gave it melody.
“Since the Day I Held You” was born from those pages—from pain, from healing, from a love only motherhood can teach.
This song is for my daughter. And maybe… for anyone who needs to remember:
even after the heaviest seasons,
something beautiful can still grow.
I can’t wait to share it with you.
Coming soon. 💕
